“25th Annual Lewis and Clark Festival”
“25th Annual Lewis and Clark Festival” takes place this weekend (June 20-22, 2014) in Gibson Park. At the Festival you will find a tipi lodge village, with lodges that have rarely or never been seen in our area before. A full schedule of speakers and presenters will be on hand, and are doing a demonstration of Native Hand Games. There will be live music, arts and Crafts vendors, food concessions, kids trading post, the Running Child Drum Group, and a Buffalo Kites exhibition. We have several things happening every hour, and it would probably take two days to see and experience everything. Music, local artisans, Lewis and Clark Honor Guard, Native American demonstrations, & food. Kite demonstrations take place in Elks Riverside Park on June 21 and 22 from 1:00—3:00 p.m. Three float trips are offered through Montana River Outfitters.
Hours are 12:00—5:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 11:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Go to our website and get complete information: http://www.lewisandclarkfoundation.org/events.php?id=74 or call 406-791-7733.
