Monarch/Neihart Street Festival

Step back in time to learn about train transportation in the early 20th Century at the Monarch Great Northern Depot in Monarch, August 10, 10:00am – 4:00pm, free admission. 

The Monarch Great Northern Depot is nearly restored with displays of old Monarch and Neihart pictures, family histories, relics from the railroad and agriculture industries. 

Other highlights include the station master’s living space staged for life in the early 20th century, the Drover Car caboose open for tours, arts and craft sales, and concessions. 

A free street festival accepting donations with proceeds used for Monarch Neihart Historical Group projects which are the continuing Monarch Depot restoration and 1894 Neihart Fire Alarm Bell Tower construction.
