Big Doings in Neihart, Montana Sept 6, 2015
The first Sunday of September, (Sept 6, 2015) several events will be held in Neihart. Beginning with a sumptuous breakfast of all you can eat French Toast, Pancakes, Sausage and Ham, scrambled eggs , Biscuits and gravy with orange juice and fresh coffee, maple and blueberry syrup at the Monarch/Neihart Community Senior Center, held from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
A Rubber Ducky Race will be held at 12:30 p.m. concluding at Johnson Bridge. Lots of prizes have been donated for this race and lots of screaming and yelling for your duck happens at the bridge.
Following this event will be the annual Soft Ball game between Monarch and Neihart. 1:00 begins sign in time at the Neihart Community Park, pick your team.
A potluck is held after the game, bring a dish to pass, hamburger, polish sausage, tea, water and condiments will be provided. Possible more softball games following the potluck.
At 6:00 p.m. behind Bob’s Bar in Neihart 3 bands will perform for the I Heart Neihart Festival, big music evening!
The first band will be the Cougar Canyon Band
2nd will be the 49th Street Blues Band
and the final one will be Phil Lee.
