Extended Area Service (EAS)

On October 1, 2007 3 Rivers implemented Extended Area Service (EAS). This means that 3 Rivers co-op members are now able to call from one 3 Rivers exchange to any other 3 Rivers exchange without having to dial 406 and without incurring toll charges. All 3 Rivers exchanges are now part of your local calling area (with the exception of Conrad, Shelby, Great Falls and Helena). For most members, this should mean lower toll charges on your bill.
